Featuring live performances recorded at Readipop Studios (www.readipop.co.uk) in 2019 alongside new recordings made since the 2020 lockdown, "Collaborate 2020" contains some exciting original music from The Rock Academy Foundation's Band Experience programme.

At the end of March, The Rock Academy had to pause face-to-face activities due to the Lockdown. With a desire to continue to work with the talented musicians on the Band Experience, collaboration moved online and used BandLab software record new tracks and work on mixes of live recordings from recent gigs.

"Collaborate 2020" is the end product of this process; a collection of recordings made in bedrooms, in shed with mobile phones and tablets by groups of young people who just wanted to continue to make music.

We hope you enjoy listening to this new music, all proceeds from the album will help to support The Rock Academy and ensure that they can continue to work with young people to make new, original music.
